In May 2022, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation announced amendments to export duties on wheat, barley, and corn.

Export tax

On 6 May 2022, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation announced a decrease in the export duty of wheat.

According to the Ministry, the export duty on wheat will decrease from USD 120.1 per ton to USD 114.3 per ton. The updated duty rate will be in effect from 13 May 2022 until 17 May 2022. The Ministry notes that the fee is calculated based on the indicative price of the commodity in question.

Export tax

On 6 May 2022, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation announced increases in export duties of barley and corn.

According to the Ministry, the export duty on barley will increase from USD 73.5 per ton to USD 74.1 per ton. Additionally, the export duty of corn will increase from USD 58.3 to USD 77 per ton. 

The updated duty rates will be enacted on 13 May 2022 and will be in effect until 17 May 2022. The Ministry notes that the fees are calculated based on indicative prices of the commodities in question.
