Anti-dumping

On July 31, 2013, the Indonesian authorities initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of spin draw yarn from China, Chinese Taipei, Malaysia and South Korea.
The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code: 5402.4700.

On October 5, 2014, the Indonesian authorities terminated the investigation concerning imports originating in China, Chinese Taipei and South Korea without imposing any duty. Reason for this decision is the absence of causal link between dumping and injury.

On January 19, 2015 the Indonesian authorities decided to impose an anti-dumping duty on imports of spin drawn yarn originating in Malaysia (Regulation of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia No. 13/PMK. 010/2015). The rate of the duty is 7.5%.
This definitive anti-dumping duty entered into force on the day of enactment of the resolution, i.e. on January 21, 2015, and is applicable for a period of five years.
