On 29 March 2022, the government of Belarus introduced a temporary export ban on rice, pasta, rye flour, and barley flour. According to the government, the export ban is introduced in order to strengthen the country's food security and prevent shortages of the goods in question.
Additionally, the government notes that exports to the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) are not subject to the ban.
Update
On 14 April 2022, the government of Belarus announced that it is now permitted to export up to 1kg of rice and pasta.
