Import tariff

On 22 March 2022, the Board of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) announced Decision No.44 temporarily eliminating the import duties on cocoa paste, cocoa butter, and copper matte. The import tariff for cocoa paste was previously set at 3%, for cocoa butter at 5%, and for the copper matter at 5%.

For cocoa paste and cocoa butter, the decision is in force between 1 April 2022 and 30 April 2025. For copper matte, the decision is in force between 1 April 2022 and 31 December 2023.

According to the Decision, the measure is taken in order to ensure the economic stability of the member states of the EAEU.
