Export tax

On 10 January 2022, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation decreased the export duty on sunflower oil. According to the Ministry, the export duty will decrease from USD 280.8 per ton to USD 251.4 per ton.

The duty is determined based on sunflower oil's indicative price of USD 1359.2 per ton. The export duty will be in force from 1 February 2022 to 28 February 2022, and it will apply to all exports outside the Eurasian Economic Union.

This measure is taken in accordance with Resolution N546, see related state act.
