Import ban

On 25 February 2022, the UK Department for Transport banned all Russian private jets from entering UK airspace or landing in the UK. Previously the same decision was taken for all scheduled Russian airlines (see related state act). This new decision was taken due to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Russia retaliated to UK’s measure and on 25 February 2022, Russia's Federal Agency for Air Transport (Rosaviatsiya) said that all flights by British carriers to Russia and transit flights are banned (see related state act).
