Import quota

On 7 October 2013, Colombia's Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism adopted Decree no. 2210 stipulating a temporary import quota on various goods originating from the Andean Community and Mercosur:
 

  1. Onion, quota of 102.392 tons affecting the HS code 0703.1000
  2. Beans, quota of 23.323 tons affecting the HS codes 0713.3190, 0713.3290, 0713.3391, 0713.3399, 0713.3590, 0713.3991, and 0713.3999
  3. Milk, quota of 1.644 tons (Mercosur excluded) affecting HS code 0402
  4. Whey, quota of 4.698 tons affecting HS codes 0404.1010, 0404.1090, and 0404.9000
  5. Tomatoes, quota of2.178 tons affecting the HS code 0702.0000
  6. Peas, quota of 1.073 tans affecting the HS code 0713.1090
  7. Fresh, pre-fried and frozen Potatoes, quota of 3.202 tons affecting the HS codes 0701.9000, 2004.1000, and 2005.2000
  8. Pear, quota of 969 tons affecting the HS code 0808.3000
  9. Cream cheese, quota of 8 tons affecting the HS code 0406.1000

 
The measure came into force with its publication in the Official Gazette of 7 October 2013 (edition no. 48.936) and lasts two years.
