Technical barrier to trade

On March 15, 2013, the Government of Argentina published the Joint Resolutions 25/2013 and 36/2013. These Resolutions establish several requirements applicable to the importation of used vehicles. The measures took effect on March 18, 2013.
 
These technical barriers include requirements such as describing all technical specifications of the good to be imported, the submission of photographs of all serial numbers in the vehicle, the presentation of the technical bibliography, catalogs and blue prints of the vehicle, and the official translation of the documentation if it is in a language other than Spanish.
