Loan guarantee

On 8 August 2019, the Department of Agriculture approved a loan guarantee worth USD 10 million to Deadwood Hotels, Llc. The support was granted through the Business and Industry Loans programme.

The Business and Industry Guaranteed Loan Program is aimed at improving the economic health of rural communities by increasing access to business capital through loan guarantees. The program offers loan guarantees to lenders for their loans to rural businesses. The program is administered by USDA Rural Development. The loan guarantee percentage is published annually in a Federal Register notice and the Business and Industry loans approved in Fiscal Year 2021 will receive an 80 percent guarantee.
