Anti-dumping

On December 31, 2013, SolarWorld Industries America Inc. (the U.S. subsidiary of a German firm) filed petitions seeking the imposition of anti-dumping and countervailing duties on imports of certain crystalline silicon photovoltaic products from China and Taiwan. With the Department of Commerce having determined that these products are sold in the United States at less than fair value and are subsidized by the government of China, and the U.S. International Trade Commission having reached a final affirmative injury determination on January 21, 2015, AD orders will be imposed on imports from both sources and a CVD order will be imposed on imports from China.
