Anti-dumping

The U.S. firm of Arch Chemicals filed a petition on December 18, 2013 requesting the imposition of countervailing and anti-dumping duties on imports of calcium hypochlorite from China. The first step in this investigation wasthe preliminary injury determination by the U.S. International Trade Commission, which reached an affirmative determination on January 31, 2014.
On July 25, 2014 the U.S. Department of Commerce published its preliminary dumping determination at enforcement.trade.gov/frn/2014/1407frn/2014-17487.txt. This followed the preliminary subsidy determination published on May 27, 2014 at enforcement.trade.gov/frn/2014/1405frn/2014-12157.txt.
On December 15, 2014 the U.S. Department of Commerce published its final subsidy determination at http://enforcement.trade.gov/frn/2014/1412frn/2014-29368.txt and its final dumping determination at http://enforcement.trade.gov/frn/2014/1412frn/2014-29370.txt
AD and CVD orders will be imposed on these products in consequence of the final affirmative injury determinations that the USITC reached on January 8, 2015 at http://www.usitc.gov/press_room/news_release/2015/er0108ll260.htm.
