State loan

On 8 December 2020, the Department of Agriculture approved a state loan worth USD 10 million to An Undisclosed Beneficiary. The support was granted through the Commodity Loans and Loan Deficiency Payments programme.

The Commodity Loans and Loan Deficiency Payments program provides loans and direct payments to farmers to help them in the orderly marketing of their crops, improve and stabilize farm income, and assist in bringing about a better balance between supply and demand of the commodities. The program is run by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Service Agency.
