Import tariff

On 1 December 2011, the Australian Customs Authorities introduced import duties on liquefied natural gas (LNG), liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and compressed natural gas (CNG). The three goods are subject to yearly increasing duties, where the maximum duty will be reached in July 2015:
