Import tariff quota

On 20 December 2011, the European Commission decided to suspend the tariff quotas for certain agricultural products originating in Palestine (West bank and Gaza Strip). The measure entered into force on 1 January 2012 and expires after 10 years.
 
The suspension was initially introduced in 2001 (Regulation 747/2001).
