State loan

On 07 November 2011, the European Investment Bank (EIB) and Banca Agrileasing S.p.a. signed an agreement worth EUR 300 million (approx. USD 407 million) for the project Agrileasing SME Loan&other Priorities from Italy.

According to the project description issued by the EIB, Loan for SMEs for lease-financing schemes and MLT lending in favour of SMEs throughout Italy, for at least 70% of the facility amount, and with up to 30% of the facility for financing eligible projects under knowledge economy, energy, environment and convergence objectives as well as mid-caps..

The objective of the project is defined as following: The facility will be dedicated to finance projects promoted by SMEs for at least 70% of the facility amount, and with up to 30% of the facility for financing eligible projects in knowledge economy, energy, environment sectors and convergence, as well as Mid-Caps..

A state act in the GTA database is assessed solely in terms of the extent to which its implementation affects foreign commercial interests. On this metric, the investment support granted here is discriminatory.
