State loan

On 23 March 2014, the European Investment Bank (EIB) and Hrvatska Banka Za Obnovu i Razvitak signed an agreement worth EUR 300 million (approx. USD 415 million) for the project Hbor Loan for Midcaps and Other Priorities from Croatia.

According to the project description issued by the EIB, Dedicated EIB loan to finance mid-caps for at least 70% of loan amount. The balance could finance eligible projects under the infrastructure, knowledge economy, energy and environment objectives..

The objective of the project is defined as following: Financing of small/medium projects carried out by (mention final beneficiaries: small and medium sized enterprises, local authorities, ...).

A state act in the GTA database is assessed solely in terms of the extent to which its implementation affects foreign commercial interests. On this metric, the investment support granted here is discriminatory.
