State loan

On 04 May 2017, the European Investment Bank (EIB) and Santander Consumer Finance SA signed an agreement worth EUR 75 million (approx. USD 83 million) for the project Scf Loan for SMEs and Midcaps Ii from Spain.

According to the project description issued by the EIB, Dedicated EIB loan to finance SMEs and MidCaps investments mainly in Spain. This is an operation under the 'EU Programme Loan for SMEs and MidCaps 2017 (2016-0812)'..

The objective of the project is defined as following: Financing of small/medium projects carried out by small and medium-sized enterprises in Spain.

A state act in the GTA database is assessed solely in terms of the extent to which its implementation affects foreign commercial interests. On this metric, the investment support granted here is discriminatory.
