On 26 July 2018, the European Investment Bank (EIB) announced an agreement worth EUR 29 million (approx. USD 34 million) for the project Posejdon Nearly Zero Energy Building from Poland. The total cost of the project is estimated at EUR 58 million.

According to the project description issued by the EIB, The proposed project consists of the development of a mixed-use building complex supporting the Polish strategy for the development of nearly zero energy building (NZEB)..

The objective of the project is defined as following: The project is expected to have a positive environmental impact, as the new complex will be constructed following high energy efficiency standards. The investment will also improve the economic and social cohesion in the region..
