On 17 January 2020, the European Investment Bank (EIB) and Procredit Bank (Bulgaria) Ad signed an agreement worth EUR 30 million (approx. USD 33 million) for the project Procredit Eu SMEs Mid-Caps & Climate Action Mbil from Bulgaria-Romania.

According to the project description issued by the EIB, Dedicated EIB loan to finance eligible investments promoted by SMEs and Mid-Caps in Romania and Bulgaria, with a Climate Action window of at least 30%..

The objective of the project is defined as following: This operation will improve competitiveness and access to finance at favourable conditions for SMEs and mid-caps in Romania and Bulgaria, with a special focus on energy efficiency..
