On July 17, 2012, the Government of Argentina ordered through Decree 1189/2012 that government entities must purchase all fuels and lubricants from Yacimientos Petrolíferos Fiscales (YPF). YPF is a state-owend company and has a market share in the Argentinean market of fuels and lubricants of 60% and 54%, respectively.
