Anti-dumping

On July 27, 2009 India initiated an anti-dumping investigation on Penicillin-G Potassium originating in or exported from China and Mexico and 6-APA (6- Amino Penicillanic Acid) originating in or exported from China. The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code: 29411010 and 29411050 respectively.

On 7 October 2011, the Indian authorities notified the World Trade Organization's Committee on Anti-Dumping Practices that no final duties are applied due to the larger public interest. This was brought into force by Central Govt. Orders dated 29 March 2011. As such both investigations have been terminated.
