Anti-dumping

On October 4, 2013, the Secretary for Foreign Trade of the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade decided to initiate an anti-dumping investigation on imports of bicycle inner tubes of rubber from China (Circular No. 58, 04.10.2013).
The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code: 4013.2000.
The complaint was lodged on April 25, 2013 by Industrial Levorin S.A. The investigation started on the day of the publication of the circular in the Federal Official Gazette of Brazil, i.e. on October 7, 2013.
On May 15, 2014, the Secretary for Foreign Trade of the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade decided to terminate the investigation without imposing any duty due to the lack of evidence to judge the existence of injury (Circular No. 21, 15.05.2014). Circular SECEX No. 21 was published in the Federal Official Gazette of Brazil on May 16, 2014.
