Import tariff

On 18 September 2012, the Vietnamese Ministry of Finance issued the Circular No. 154/2012/TT-BTC, changing tariffs for the following products:
- Import tariffs for solid sodium hydroxide (caustic soda), potassium hydroxide (caustic potash), and peroxides of sodium or potassium under HS 2815.11 were reduced from 10 to 3 per cent.

- Import tariffs for double or complex silicates, including aluminosilicates whether or not chemically defined under HS 2842.10 were increased from 0 to 5 per cent.

The Circular entered into effect on 2 November 2012.
