Import tariff quota

On 30 November 2012, the Brazilian Foreign Trade Council (Camex) introduced a tariff-rate quota on terephthalic acid and purified terephthalic acid (PTA) (NCM 2917.36.00). The tariff has been reduced from 12% to 0% and limited to a quota of 42.000 tons for a period of 90 days. The resolution no. 84/12 takes effect on 3 December 2012.
