Import tariff quota

On 18 January 2013, the Brazilian Foreign Trade Council (Camex) published resolution no. 01/13 reducing the import tariff on partially oriented yarn, i.e., polyester (NCM 5402.46.00). The measure, which constitutes a tariff-rate quota (TRQ), reduces the tariff from 18% to 2% and is limited to an amount of 88'000 tons.
 
The measure is valid for 180 days, i.e., from 18 January 2013 until 18 June 2013.
