On August 15, 2013, the Government of Colombia temporarily eliminated the Most Favored Nation (MFN) import duties applicable to goods classified under 3,490 tariff lines.
In particular, this Resolution temporarily eliminates the MFN duties applicable to goods classified under 64 of the 97 chapters of the Colombian Tariff Schedule. Goods classified under the following Chapters were excluded from the tariff elimination: 01, 02, 04-24, 46, 49, 57, 61-64 and 97.
These amendments entered into force on August 15, 2013, and last two years.
On March 14, 2014, the Government released Decree 555 which added the sub-codes of 8543.70.90.00 to the aforementioned measure:
