Import tariff

On April 12, 2013 upon the advice of the International Trade Administration Commission of South Africa (ITAC), the South African Revenue Service (SARS) published an increase in the tariff on industrial taps and mixers (HS 8481.80.79) from 15% to 20% ad valorem for non-EU/EFTA countries, effective immediately. The tariff of 3.7% for EFTA countries remains unaltered. The measure applies to the Southern African Customs Union (SACU).
