In August 2012, the government of Brazil initiated a sunset review and extended the duty in July 2013. In July 2018, a sunset review was initiated and the definitive duty was extended for a new period in July 2019.

Anti-dumping

On 17 July 2013, the Government of Brazil announced the final results of the third sunset review of the anti-dumping measure against table top fans from China.
As a result of this review, the Brazilian authorities resolve to continue, for a period of five years, the application of a specific import duty of 26.3 dollars per unit.
The sunset review initiated on 6 August 2012.
The HS code in question is 8414.5110.

On 17 July 2018, the Brazilian authorities initiated a sunset review of the antidumping duty imposed on imports of the subject good from China. This follows the application lodged on 15 March 2018 by SEB do Brasil Produtos Domésticos Ltda., SEB Comercial de Produtos Domésticos Ltda., Britânia Eletrodomésticos S.A. and MK Eletrodomésticos Mondial S.A. The duty will remain in force for the duration of the review.

On 1 July 2019, the Brazilian authorities extended the definitive duty imposed on imports of table top fans from China. The rate of duty is USD 11.76 per unit. The duty is in force for a period of five years.
