Import tariff

On 15 April 2009, Paraguay's Ministry of Finance adopted Decree No. 1813 modifying import tariffs on selected basic chemicals, metal products and machinery corresponding to the following tariff lines:
 
Import tariff decrease to 2 per cent on tariff lines 2903, 2915, 3911, and 7508.
Import tariff decrease to 0 per cent on tariff line 8443.31.
Import tariff increase to 14 per cent on tariff lines 2930, 3808 and 8443.20.
 
According to the classification used in the GTA database, this measure is labelled "amber" as it includes both liberalizing and restrictive components.
