State loan

To ease the credit conditions for a selcted group of firms, the government of Belarus transferred their loans to a new institution.
 
On 29 December 2012 the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus (according to Resolution 1243) approved a list of companies (121 pages) whose loans shall be transfered from Belarusbank and Belagroprombank to the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus. In the resolution, it is stated that the new creditor will "apply eased standards" with regard to the mentioned companies. The companies belong to the domestic agro-industrial complex, construction, and forest industry.
 
The Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus is an instrument for the application of selected state support measures (see, e.g., related GTA measure 5043 provided below).
