Trade finance

On 7 February 2020, Denmark’s export credit agency Eksport Kredit Fonden (EKF) signed a guarantee agreement for a corporate loan having a total value of DKK 85 million (approx. USD 12 million). This acton will support the Danish company Cimbria Unigrain A/S in the financing of a Fertilizer Warehouse project in Romania. The loan has a maturity of 11 years and 1 month.

Cimbria Unigrain A/S is a manufacturer of seed processing equipment and solutions, optical sorters, dryers, and conveying equipment. It operates in Thisted, Nordjylland, Denmark. 

The GTA includes state guarantees and other financial incentives that are likely to affect the restructuring and performance of firms facing international competition, whether from imports, in export markets, and from foreign subsidiaries.

 

Eksport Kredit Fonden (EKF)

EKF provides financial assistance and guarantees to support Danish companies in the area of exports. While it operates as a financial institution on commercial terms, the Danish state owns EKF.
