Import tariff

On 4 March 2013, Uruguay's Ministry of Economy and Finance adopted Decree No. 74/013 increasing import tariffs on wood, gum, tobacco, cotton, yarn, thermionic or cathode color tube products corresponding to the following 8-digit tariff lines:
 
1301.90.90 from 0 to 08 per cent
2401.30.00 from 0 to 14 per cent
4407.99.70 from 0 to 06 per cent
4411.12.10 from 0 to 10 per cent
4411.13.10 from 0 to 10 per cent
5201.00.20 from 0 to 06 per cent
5402.33.00 from 0 to 18 per cent
8540.11.00 from 0 to 18 per cent
 
This measure entered into force on 13 March 2013.
