Import quota

On 27 June 2013, the European Council decided to adjust a regulation from 2010 that introduced duty free import quotas for certain products, in order to ensure sufficient and uninterrupted supplies ... and to avoid any disturbances on the market for certain agricultural and industrial products. (preamble (1)). The measure is temporary and will expire at the end of the year 2013.
 
Ten goods are added to the initial list of 2010. The changes entered into force on 1 July 2013. The exact list of affected goods can be found in Annex I of the Council regulation (627/2013).
 
Furthermore, HS Code 2916 is subject to an increase in the quota volume (Annex II)
