Import tariff

On 18 April 2012, Ecuador's Trade Committee (Comité de Comerico Exterior COMEX) adopted Resolution No. 53 changing import tariffs for several tariff lines. It increased import tariffs from 15 to 25 per cent on pipes (6906.00) and ammunitions (9306.30) and it reduced import tariffs from 15 to 10 per cent on wastes (3825.xx) and paper (4805.11). This measure entered into force on 28 May 2012.
