Documents will also be archived in an online databank so that future application procedures can be streamlined.
On 16 December 2013, the Brazilian National Immigration Council (Conselho Nacional de Imigraçăo, CNIg) officially launched the online tool, Migranteweb (MTE), which was announced in May 2013.
