State loan

On 17 June 2020, the European Investment Bank (EIB) signed a loan facility agreement with Swedish property company Vasakronan to the value of EUR 190 million (approx. USD 213.1 million). The loan will support the construction of high energy performing/nearly zero-energy buildings (NZEB) office buildings in Sweden. The loan facility is unsecured and provides Vasakronan with flexible financing with a maturity of up to 10 years. Vasakronan has the option of drawing the loan over a three-year period in several tranches. 

A state act in the GTA database is assessed solely in terms of the extent to which its implementation affects foreign commercial interests. On this metric, the investment support granted here is discriminatory.
