In June 2013, the government of Bolivia announced a change in import duties.

On 12 June 2013, Bolivia's Cabinet Council adopted Decree No. 1608 temporarily reducing import tariffs to zero per cent on wheat for the period of 180 days, effective immediately. Previously, import tariffs on wheat amounted to either 5 or 10 per cent depending on the type of wheat.
Update
On February 25, 2014, the Bolivian Government issued Supreme Decree 1902, extending the temporary elimination of import tariffs on wheat and meslin, wheat and meslin flour until December 31, 2014.
