On April 5, 2013, the Malaysian authorities initiated an anti-dumping investigation on imports of newsprint in rolls from Belgium, Germany, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
The products subject to investigation are classified under the following HS code: 4801.0010. The dumping is suspected to have occurred between July 1, 2011 and September 30, 2012.
On August 2, 2013, the Malaysian authorities terminated the investigation without the imposition of an anti-dumping duty.
