In March 2021, the Argentine authorities amended the list of products subject to automatic import licensing requirements. As a consequence, new products were added to the list of goods subject to non-automatic import licenses, and other products were removed from the list.

On 15 March 2021, the Ministry of Productive Development of Argentina adopted Disposition 7/2021 amending the list of products subject to non-automatic import licenses. To do so, the new regulation replaces the annexe introduced via Disposition 5/2021 (see related state acts). As a consequence of the changes introduced, 3 new eight-digits tariff lines are now subject to non-automatic import licenses.
The affected products were classified under tariff subheadings NCM 3506.91.20, 3506.91.90, and 9603.90.00.
The changes introduced with the new legislation follow major amendments to the import licensing regime announced earlier in the previous years (please, see related state acts).
Disposition 5/2021 entered into force retroactively from 12 March 2021, the date on which Disposition 5/2021 entered into force.
