Anti-subsidy

On 27 April 2012, the European Commission announced the initiation of an anti-subsidy investigation on imports of bicycles originating in China.
The complaint was lodged on 15 March 2012 by European Bicycles Manufacturers Association on behalf of Union producers.
The HS codes in question are 8712.0030 and 8712.0070.
On 23 May 2013, the Commission decided to terminate the investigation without the imposition of duties following the withdrawal of the complaint.
