On 13 February 2012, the Government of Colombia initiated a sunset review on link chain, polished or galvanized, originating in China. The original definitive anti-dumping duty was imposed on 11 April 2007.
On 14 December 2012, the country decided to extend the anti-dumping measures in force for an additional period of three years, starting from 19 December 2012. The rate of duty is USD 2.11 per kg. The HS code in question is 7315.8200.
On 11 November 2015, the Colombian authorities initiated a sunset review of the anti-dumping duty imposed on above goods from China. This follows the request lodged by Colcadenas Ltda. The existing anti-dumping duty remains in force during the review.
On 1 November 2016, the Colombian authorities extended the anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of link chain, polished or galvanized, originating in China. The rate of duty is 4.50% of the FOB value. The measure remains in force for a period of two years.
