Import tariff

On 18 February 2011, the Singapore Customs announced in Circular No. 02/2011 the increase of import tariffs from either SGD 181 to SGD 199 or from SGD 300 to SGD 315 per kg on tobacco, cigarettes, and other tobacco products, effective as of 18 February 2011.

On 17 February 2012, the Singapore Customs announced in Circular No. 02/2012 the further increase of import tariffs from either SGD 199 to SGD 239 or from SGD 315 to SGD 347 per kg on tobacco, cigarettes, and other tobacco products, effective as of 17 February 2012.

On 25 February 2013, the Singapore Customs announced in Circular No. 02/2013 the further increase of import tariffs from either SGD 239 to SGD 299 or from SGD 347 to SGD 352 per kg on tobacco, cigarettes, and other tobacco products, effective as of 25 February 2013.
