On 15 August 2012, the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism of the Republic of Colombia adopted Decree No. 1703, which established a zero per cent import duty for 3,095 tariff lines including fuels and lubricants, raw materials and equipment for use in the agricultural sector, machinery for use in the industry, transport equipment and construction materials for a period of one year. The measure partially amends Decree No. 4927 of 2011, which imposed import duties on the aforementioned 3,095 tariff lines.
