Public procurement preference margin

On June 27, 2012, the Brazilian government announced an expansion of the national preference scheme for government procurement of medical and other products. Each group of products is assigned a margin of preference: the domestically produced product in question may cost more than its imported counterpart and still be given preference in government procurement. See this source for an overview table of the measure (on page 22).
