On 23 June 2020, the European Commission issued Regulation No. 2020/864, decreasing the import duty on maize, sorghum and rye from EUR 10.40 (USD 11.76) to EUR 4.65 (USD 5.26) per tonne. The products subject to import duties are classified under HS code subheadings 1002.10.00, 1002.90.00, 1005.10.90, 1005.90.00, 1007.10.90 and 1007.90.00.

In July 2020, the import duty on the subject goods was eliminated, see related state act.
