Anti-dumping

On July 9, 2020 four firms (i.e., List Industries, Inc., Lyon LLC, Penco Products, Inc., and Tennsco LLC) filed petitions seeking the imposition of countervailing and antidumping duties on certain metal lockers and parts thereof from China. These items are provided for in subheadings 9403.20.0078 and 9403.90.8041 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States.

On August 21, 2020 the U.S. International Trade Commission determined that there is a reasonable indication that a U.S. industry is materially injured by reason of imports of metal lockers from China that are allegedly subsidized and sold in the United States at less than fair value. As a result of the determinations, the U.S. Department of Commerce will continue its investigations.
