Export ban

On 25 April 2020, the Republican Task Force on the Prevention of the Spread of the Coronavirus in Tajikistan announced a temporary export ban concerning all grains, pulses, wheat and flour, rice, eggs, potatoes and all types of meat. The ban is temporary, but no termination date has been set. 

The stated policy goal of the ban is to ensure food supply stability during the COVID-19 outbreak.
