Export ban

On December 28, 2012, the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan (according to Resolution No.1694) imposed a temporary ban on the exportation of:

  • light distillates and products (Code 2710 12), except for special gasoline (Code 2710 12 210 0 - 2710 12 250 0) and domestic heating oil,
  • kerosene (Code 2710 19 210 0- 2710 19 250 0),
  • gas oil (Code 2710 19 420 0 - 2710 19 480 0, 2710 20 110 0 - 2710 20 190 0),
  • other petroleum products (Code 2710 20 900 0).

 
The cited codes are according to the Commodity Nomenclature for Foreign Economic Activity of the Customs Union of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.
 
This state measure came into effect on 1 January 2013 and will be effective for 6 months.
