On 2 June 2020, the Indian Ministry of Finance through Notification No. 26/2020-Customs reduced the basic customs duty on Lentils (Mosur) from 30% to 10% for the period 2 June 2020 to 31 August 2020. This rate is applicable to all countries except the USA.
On 17 September 2020, through Notification No. 34/2020-Customs the reduced customs duty was extended for the period 18 September 2020 to 31 October 2020.
On 28 October 2020, through Notification No.39/2020-Customs the reduced customs duty was extended until 31 December 2020.
On 2 June 2020, the Indian Ministry of Finance through Notification No. 26/2020-Customs reduced the basic customs duty on Lentils (Mosur) by 50% to 30% for the period 2 June 2020 to 31 August 2020 for imports from the United States of America.
On 17 September 2020, through Notification No. 34/2020-Customs the reduced customs duty was extended for the period 18 September 2020 to 31 October 2020.
On 28 October 2020, through Notification No.39/2020-Customs the reduced customs duty was extended until 31 December 2020.
