India has amended the import tariff value on several products.

Import tariff

On 29 May 2020, the India Ministry of Finance through Notification No. 48/2020-Customs (N.T) increased the import tariff value on the following goods - 

  • Crude Palm Oil - USD 546 to USD 550 per Metric Tonne
  • RBD Palm Oil - USD 556 to USD 560 per Metric Tonne
  • Others – Palm Oil USD 551 to USD 555 per Metric Tonne
  • Crude Palmolein - USD 561 to USD 568 per Metric Tonne
  • RBD Palmolein - USD 564 to USD 571 per Metric Tonne
  • Others Palmolein – USD 563 to USD 570 per Metric Tonne
  • Crude Soya bean Oil - USD 636 to USD 666 per Metric Tonne
  • Brass Scrap (all grades) - USD 3041 to USD 3071 per Metric Tonne

The tariff values were last amended on 19 May 2020 and was later amended on 15 June 2020 (See related State Act).

Import tariff

On 29 May 2020, the India Ministry of Finance through Notification No. 48/2020-Customs (N.T) reduced the import tariff value on Gold, including gold bars and gold coins from USD 557 per 10 grams to USD 553 per 10 grams.

The tariff value was later amended on 15 June 2020.
